We will start praying at 21:00
Prepare yourself by kneeling if you're able and praying: Come, Holy Spirit.
This page will automatically update between 9pm and 9.15pm, guiding you through prayers simultaneously with hundreds of other people around the UK and Ireland.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Pray for...
For people everywhere to see Jesus as Lord and Saviour and to worship Him.
For churches to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to love and serve their communities always pointing to Jesus.
For God’s Kingdom to come and his will to be done. For those in government to have wisdom, strength and guidance from God.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
Pray for...
For God's provision and comfort for the vulnerable, isolated, bereaved and those in any kind of need. For the NHS and all frontline workers.
For church unity. For the good news of Jesus to be shared bringing reconciliation and healing. For damaged relationships to be restored.
Freedom from fear, anxiety and darkness. For people to know the peace and life found in Jesus. For an end to the Coronavirus pandemic.
For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
Pray for...
For us to be full of faith that Jesus is the light that no darkness can extinguish.
Thankfulness for where we see God’s kingdom already moving and prayer for more where we are yet to see it.
For our lives and our churches to be beacons of light reflecting Jesus light and glory.
The words of The Lord's Prayer will appear below for us to pray together.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
Thank you for joining us this evening as we've bowed down, together in prayer, for our communities and nations as part of Thy Kingdom Come.
Share your light
We would encourage you to now light a candle to symbolically show that Jesus is the light of the world.
